VRP 6H (JTP) Piston Tekno

This is a set of (4) Patented VRP ‘XV4’ 6H Pistons. (2)6x1.5 (2)3x1.4/3x1.5

This shock piston set is designed to be used with the Tekno NB/EB48 2.2 and used in the outside hole on the suspension arms. Use 6x1.5 in the front with 450-500 oil depending on grip level and outside temperature. Extreme cold, or very rough, you can use 400, and extreme high grip or very hot, you could use 550. Use 3x1.4/3x1.5 in the rear, matching your front oil, 450-500 for normal conditions, depending on grip level and outside temperature, and 400/550 for extreme conditions.

The VRP ‘XV4’ Pistons are designed to have a washer under and over them. It is important to run washers and that they are correctly installed. Each set of pistons is supplied with a Washer Hardware Pack to make sure you have what you need to install them.

Each set of pistons comes with 4 different upper washers that are color coded. The washers are made to cover the rubber valves to give different rebound rates.

Black / Red / Gold / Blue : Most rebound Black, to least rebound Blue

For tracks that are loose and low grip, or very blown out with large ruts, more rebound is preferred. On smooth or tracks that have very high grip, less rebound is preferred. We suggest starting with the Black Washer in both the front and rear pistons.
